This blog is all about Rob-Dog, my retired racing greyhound and his adventures and experiences in his forever home.
Rob-Dog is a very large black greyhound who was born in Ireland 7 years ago. He comes from a long line of champion racing greyhounds and has Head Honcho and Top Honcho, two racing legends, in his family tree.
Rob-Dog raced under the name 'Gerry and John' and when his career was finished, he was handed in to an Irish dog pound to find a new home. The dog pound contacted the GWR charity who bought him over the England for re-homing.
Rob-Dog was adopted by my daughter and he now lives happily with our family on the Kent coast.
Like most greyhounds, Rob-Dog is a greedy couch potato! He likes nothing more than snoozing on the sofa, on a human's bed, in his own bed, in the garden on a sunny day and of course, eating!
As you can see from these photos, Rob-Dog fills a double bed and a three seater sofa with ease!
This blog will feature pages written from Rob-Dog's perception and in what I like to call 'Doglish'. This is my interpretation of how Rob-Dog might speak!
Thanks for visiting the blog and please come back again!
